Dear Delanceyplace Readers,

We have just introduced a weekly video blog called “The Tychos Weekly Comment” (after our favorite Danish data collector and astronomer, Tycho Brahe, 1546-1601). It’s usually only about five minutes in length, and gives a quick, data-oriented view of a topic in macroeconomics—typically in reference to one of the seven largest global economies (US, China, Japan, Germany, France, India and the UK), which together constitute over 60 percent of world GDP.

It's free, and if you would like to subscribe, just provide us with your email address here, and you will begin receiving it weekly via email. You will also get one or two short written “Spotlight” reports each month on key data from these countries.  

Here are two of our recent weekly offerings to give you a flavor of what you might expect—one on US inflation and one on historical real estate booms in the US and UK.
